Madeira Wine SUMMIT

Madeira is fortified wine from the Portuguese island of Madeira. This October, six Madeira producers gathered at an event in City Winery in New York City to celebrate the drink.

Early programming in the day invited industry professionals to high level tutorials on the use of Madeira in cocktails and mixology by mixologies Lynnette Marrero. Later on the day producers invited members of the public to a tasting with catered tastes to compliment the unique wine, as well as speed-tastings with sommelier and Portuguese wine advocate Bruno Almeida.
